Buttons, Beads and Pendants

Attendees will become proficient in mixing clay colors and conditioning. We will experiment with surface textures including various stamping, carving and metallic surface techniques. We will also try a few different methods of putting holes for beading or sewing into the clay. We will have a drill press available for use in class. 

Students will choose their own colors and sizes and go home with 5-12 pieces, depending upon the complexity attempted. If a specific garment is the intended use for buttons, it’s suggested to bring the piece to class for best color compatibility.

Your supply fee of $15 is separate and will be paid to the instructor at class time.
